Sunday at Clifden dawned beautifully bright and clear but alas the bitter east wind soon returned for the Clifden Stallion Parade. “Under a bitter black wind that blew from the left hand” to quote W.B.Yeats. Gloves, hats and scarves were needed along with heavy overcoats to maintain a modicum of comfort, but alas, photos cannot be taken with gloved fingers. So this blog’s camera stayed mainly in the coat pocket and not too many pictures were taken. So sorry, I would like to have taken many more photos.
